What are expenses?

Expenses are business costs with meals, travels, or accommodation, first assumed by the employee, and later reimbursed by the company.

Company expenses can be categorized in 3 types:

Representation expenses

Representation expenses are cost with meals, travel or different events offered to partners or clients.

Travel and Accommodation

Also known as “Travel expenses”, they are costs with travelling, accommodation or meals paid by the employees while at the company’s service.

Allowances

Amount paid by the company to the employees when they’re dislocated to compensate all the extra expenses caused by that distance.

Allowance for using personal vehicle to travel to clients or suppliers

The employee will receive an amount for their business expenses spent on their own vehicles. It’s commonly known as “Mileage Allowance Payments (MAPs)”.
